Martha Stewart, 84, Tried Retirement and Got Bored
Martha Stewart is 84 years old and apparently looked at retirement and said, “Cute idea, but no.” She has co-founded Hint, a new AI app that helps people manage their homes.
You give it your address, and it can help track things like maintenance, insurance, energy costs, appliances, soil, and other home problems. The company has raised $10 million, and Martha isn't just smiling for the logo.
Hint’s CTO, Kyle Rush, says he visits her about twice a week to review the product, and she tells him when the AI gets things wrong, including its advice about soil and home care.
Imagine getting fired by an 84-year-old because you misunderstood dirt.
Martha’s role shows that AI still needs people who actually know what they're talking about. The machine can read thousands of files, but somebody still has to look at the answer and say, “No, that's nonsense.”
Hint even uses Martha’s years of home and gardening knowledge to improve what the product tells users.
Think about your own job for a second. How many times has software confidently given you the wrong answer and you had to fix it?
Exactly.
So maybe the future isn't humans versus AI. Maybe it's AI doing the first draft while an experienced human stands behind it saying, “Who taught you this?” Martha just happens to be doing that.
Most People Rely on Calcium - Researchers Studied a Different Protein

Did your family doc ever tell you calcium is good for your bones? Ours too.
Turns out… Calcium could do more harm than good.
In one of the largest bone health studies ever, women who took calcium and vitamin D every day did not see a difference in bone health risks.
Meanwhile, a recent study found that women who took THIS protein for 6 months gained 7% more bone density… Which is how much density the average person loses in SIX YEARS!
⇒ Use THIS protein if you want stronger bones.
Siri Finally Works, Please Clap!
Apple has finally upgraded Siri into something that can hold a normal conversation, understand your personal context, search through things like messages and receipts, work inside apps, edit photos, and even play the song you actually asked for.
Apparently this counts as a major breakthrough after more than a decade of Siri hearing “Call Mom” and deciding you meant “Find llama farms near me.”
The new version is in iOS 27 beta right now, and it seems much more useful. If you've ever repeated the same command three times while your phone stared back at you like you were the problem, congratulations. Your long national nightmare might finally be ending.
But think about this for a second.
At work, you're expected to understand context, remember what someone said yesterday, find the right file, use software properly, and not completely misunderstand a basic request. Siri is only now getting applause for doing the same thing.
Amazing career strategy, really.
Show up late, improve after 15 years, and suddenly everyone is impressed. The useful part is that Siri can now help with real daily tasks, like finding information buried in your phone, handling actions across apps, and answering follow-up questions without starting from zero every time.
Apple finally made Siri more helpful. The bar was on the floor, but at least somebody finally picked it up.
Spotify Will Now Supervise Your Run Because Your Legs Can't Be Trusted
Spotify has launched a new Running Mode, because going for a run was too simple. You choose your workout, how long you want to run, your music, and your preferred speed or BPM, and Spotify builds the session around it.
It can change the music for different parts of the run and even give you little audio cues and motivation along the way. So now, while you're outside fighting for your life after sitting at a desk for eight hours, Spotify can calmly encourage you like it has lungs.
Nothing motivates you quite like an app saying “keep going” while your knees are prepping a formal complaint.
The funny part is that Spotify isn't actually watching your speed and judging you in real time. You set the workout before you start, and it follows that plan.
There are 25 preset workouts, including interval, steady, and pyramid runs, plus optional voice cues.
But think about your normal workday. Your boss tells you to hit targets, your calendar tells you where to be, your watch tells you to stand up, and now Spotify is joining management to tell you how to exercise.
You left the office to clear your head and somehow brought another supervisor with you.
At least this one plays music.
