Italy Court Says Netflix Price Hikes Were Illegal
A Rome court ruled that Netflix broke Italian consumer law by raising prices in Italy from 2017 to January 2024.
The case was brought by Movimento Consumatori, and affected users could get up to €500 back, about $577. Netflix said it will appeal.
The ruling also says Netflix must remove those illegal increases from current prices in Italy and tell customers.
This only applies in Italy, and it could still change on appeal.
Invest in My Diabetes Health
The U.S. spends billions annually on preventable diabetes complications due to a massive gap in patient education. Shockingly, fewer than 7% of patients receive structured clinical support during their critical first year of diagnosis.
My Diabetes Health bridges this gap by connecting patients with certified experts through virtual clinical consultation and expert guidance. Our accredited curriculum is fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance providers.
With 30,000+ sessions completed for over 8,600 patients, our accredited program delivers results. We have achieved a significant 1.6-point A1C reduction, proving that scalable, virtual support leads to better health outcomes.
The diabetes education market is estimated at $18.1 billion, with over 15 million eligible patients not currently receiving these services. My Diabetes Health is working to expand access to this type of care and increase patient reach over time.

Google Adds Gemini Safety Features Amid AI Harm Lawsuits
Google is adding new mental health safety tools to Gemini.
The update gives faster access to crisis hotlines and text lines, uses more caring language, keeps the help message on screen, and includes $30 million over three years for crisis hotlines worldwide.
The change comes as Google faces a lawsuit claiming Gemini fed a man’s delusions, acted like a romantic AI partner, and played a role in his death.
Google said Gemini clearly said it was AI and directed him to crisis help.
FBI Says Crypto Scams Cost Americans $7.2 Billion in 2025
The FBI says crypto investment scams were the costliest internet fraud type in 2025, with Americans losing about $7.2 billion.
The same FBI report says AI-related complaints caused about $893 million in losses from 22,364 complaints.
So the basic claim is right, but it’s not a perfect side-by-side match.
Crypto investment scams are a specific scam type, while “AI related” is the FBI’s label for complaints where AI showed up in some way.
