Cloudflare CEO Says AI Bots Could Overtake Human Web Traffic by 2027
Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince said bot traffic could pass human traffic by 2027, and he says GenAI is the main reason.
Speaking at SXSW, a major tech, media, film, and music event in Austin, Texas, he said a person may visit 5 websites, while an AI agent could hit thousands.
Cloudflare said crawler traffic rose 18% from May 2024 to May 2025, while GPTBot, OpenAI’s web crawler, rose 305%.
But its 2025 review still found that humans were ahead in key web page requests.
Anthropic Adds Telegram and Discord Messaging to Claude Agents
Anthropic has launched Channels for Claude Code, letting users message a running Claude agent through Telegram and Discord.
It’s in research preview and works with Claude Code v2.1.80 or later.
Claude can also reply back through those apps, but the Claude Code session still has to be open and running.
Anthropic says users can also build custom channels, which is why more options may follow.
Nevada Judge Temporarily Blocks Kalshi From Operating in the State
A Nevada judge has temporarily blocked Kalshi from operating in the state.
On March 20, 2026, the court ordered Kalshi to stop offering sports, election, and entertainment contracts in Nevada.
The order lasts 14 days for now, and the next hearing is set for April 3, 2026.
Nevada says Kalshi is offering these contracts without a state gaming license.
Edward Jones: AI Will Help, Not Replace, 20,000 Advisers
Edward Jones says AI will help, not replace, its 20,000 financial advisers.
The firm manages about $2.5 trillion for clients and says real people still matter for trusted money advice.
It's still using AI in a big way.
Reports say it's testing or selling about 10 AI products, and more than 70% of its advisers are involved in pilots or commercial programs.
